World Rum Day Celebration
World Rum Day is our day to celebrate all things rum.
Rum has had a sordid history over nearly 500 years. If you thought this spirit was solely for mixing with cola, we're here to show you just how far that is from the truth.
Joined by the team from Brix Distillers (Sydney's craft rum distillery) and Chris, our in-house "Rum Smuggler" (Senior Bartender and Rum Expert), you'll go on a wild journey through the incredible world of rum. A five course, five rum exploration - each course is paired with a unique story and different rum to match.
Discovery Dinners are a dinner series hosted by The Fox Hole.
Event menu
The World Rum Day Discovery Dinner menu is five shared courses - choose either omnivore or plant-based menu. Gluten-free available on request.
The first course includes a full strength rum cocktail and remaining four courses include a full-nip of rum along with paired mixers and garnishes as recommended by our in-house rum expert.

Book with confidence: If you or someone in your party tests positive for COVID or needs to isolate within 7 days of the event. We will waive all late reschedule fees and you'll be able to transfer your booking to a future Discovery Dinner or alternative experience (including our Rum Experience) at The Fox Hole. Read more
How to get there
68a Erskine Street, Sydney, NSW 2000
We're located in a Victorian style terrace on the corner of Kent and Erskine Streets in the northern precinct of Sydney CBD. The closest train station is Wynyard, there are several bus stations on Kent and Clarence streets giving access to most of Sydney.
You'll also find parking managed by Wilson Parking at 321 Kent Street.
