We’re proud to host a special edition of our signature experience as part of the Sydney Leather Festival - right here at The Fox Hole, the only gay-owned bar in The Rocks.
This isn’t your average afternoon tea. We’ve taken the elegance of high tea and given it a cheeky twist - think savoury pastries, sweet treats, and delicate sandwiches, all paired with gin cocktails served in glass teapots.
It’s indulgent, a little bit wicked, and absolutely fabulous.

We’ve blended the most fabulous parts of high tea with the best bits of a great gin cocktail — and the result is Gin & Tea.
For Sydney Leather Festival, we’re serving up our signature three-tiered afternoon tea alongside glass teapots filled with your choice of gin cocktails from our special teapots menu.
It’s bold. It’s boozy. It’s a little bit kinky.
Menus
We proudly use ethically sourced ingredients and make most of our menu in-house. The Gin & Tea menus above are examples and are subject to change.
Please note any dietary requirements when booking (including the number of guests) - vegan and gluten-free options are available on request. For bookings made within 48 hours of attending, please email reservations@thefoxhole.com.au to confirm your requirements.
Our kitchen team will always do their best to accommodate allergy and dietary requirement requests, however all food is prepared in one (relatively small) kitchen and we cannot guarantee allergen-free dishes.
Gin & Tea – $85 per person
Includes one glass teapot of your choice to share between two, served alongside a tiered stand of sweet and savoury delights.
Want more? Upgrade to bottomless Gin & Tea and enjoy unlimited teapots during your sitting for just $25 per person in advance ($35 on the day).
Please note: bottomless and teapot-on-arrival upgrades must be selected for the entire table.
What do people think?
Throughout the evening we were given gin served over ice alongside a tonic suited to go perfectly with the gin. One of the waiters came round to each table giving an explanation and story behind what was served. Shortly after sipping on the magic of what is gin- the delicious food came out which was perfectly paired to suite the flavours of the gin.
In short, I would say the following:
Food - amazing, tasty, well presented, leaving you wanting more.
Alcohol- to die for- they know their cocktails and they know how to match food with drinks.
Service- next level.
Overall- we will Definitely be back.
We also wanted say Thank you to all the staff who we couldn’t see behind the scenes for making it run as smoothly as possible and to everyone who was involved in making this event come to life.

We're located in a heritage building on the corner of Harrington and Essex Streets in Sydney's, The Rocks. The Fox Hole is equidistant to both Circular Quay and Wynyard stations, there are several bus stations at Circular Quay and on George Street giving access to most of Sydney.
Should you be driving, you'll find Quay West Car Park managed by Wilson Parking at 111 Harrington Street.

Everything we do has an impact on the communities and the environment in which we live. We think about this with everything we do. We use green power; we source our products from supply chains which don't use slave or child labour; we only use paper straws; and our toilet paper even contributes to building toilets for those who don't have them. These things are all just part of our normal - not an added extra.
