This April (and now, May!), at The Fox Hole we are celebrating with a five course tasting menu - with duck infused into every course! To make the evening exceptional, our in-house sommelier has carefully selected a Pinot Noir to match each course along the way.

In usual style our in-house experts will share interesting tales about the food, the wine and the origins of the duck & pinot pairing throughout the evening as you dine and explore.

The Duck & Pinot Discovery Dinner menu is five shared courses. Gluten-free is available on request.

Each course includes full 125mL pours of wine along with a dessert serve (70mL) to finish.


Pinot Noir is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties in the world - grown perhaps as far back as 1000 BC. At a very similar time, ducks were first farmed by the Chinese and Egyptians. We invite you to savour and enjoy the perfect combination that is Duck & Pinot.
